Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Bruno Lage reiterates that Manchester United and Barcelona target Ruben Neves is worth £100m.

Manchester United and Barcelona are again told that Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves is worth £100m.

In recent weeks, speculation has persisted regarding a potential exit from Molineux for the Portugal international, who has enjoyed a strong Premier League campaign.

Head coach Bruno Lage has previously stated that any interested clubs should be prepared to pay £100m for Neves, a claim which is disputed by reports that Wolves will accept significantly less for their star man.

However, at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion, Lage doubled down on his previous assessment of the situation.

The Portuguese said to reporters, as quoted by the Express & Star's Liam Keen: "These days we need to be ready for everything. A player like this has a value of £100m. Anything can happen, not just with Ruben. If we want to improve we need the best guys at the best price."

Neves continues to remain absent for Wolves due a knee injury, despite returning to training earlier this week.
