Manchester United join Liverpool in race to sign Danny Ings?

Danny Ings emerges as a reported target for Manchester United, who are said to be up against Liverpool and Real Sociedad to land the Burnley forward's signature.

Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign in-demand Burnley striker Danny Ings this summer.

The 22-year-old, who has scored nine goals for the Premier League strugglers so far this season, has previously been linked with both Liverpool and Real Sociedad.

According to The Sun, the Red Devils are preparing a lucrative offer to land the Englishman at the end of the season, with his contract due to expire at Turf Moor.

Should Ings leave Burnley, as is looking increasingly likely, then a tribunal will decide how much compensation is paid to the Clarets.
