Davide Calabria, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Joshua Kimmich are all said to have been looked at, but United have been paying particular attention to Meunier.
The Belgium international has appeared 28 times for PSG this season, notching five goals and seven assists, and the report indicates that he has been scouted by United since the start of the campaign.
Meunier's PSG deal has just one full season left to run, giving Solskjaer's men some bargaining power should they enter negotiations with the Parisians.
