Manchester United have reportedly upped their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris following rumours that David de Gea has decided to leave the club.
The Spaniard, who was named United's Player of the Season last month, is believed to have told his teammates that he intends to sign for Real Madrid this summer.
De Gea has been linked with the Spanish giants for some time, and it appears that United's efforts of persuading the shot-stopper to sign a new contract have failed.
According to the Daily Star, the Premier League giants have now switched their focus to Lloris, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will reportedly only entertain offers of around £35m for the French goalkeeper.
On Tuesday, Lloris poured doubt over his future at White Hart Lane by admitting that he is considering his future.
