Manchester United to sell Robin van Persie to help fund Edinson Cavani move?

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to sell Robin van Persie to help fund a bid for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

Manchester United have reportedly placed Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani at the top of their transfer wishlist.

The Red Devils have been linked with the Uruguayan in previous windows, but it is believed that this summer, United manager Louis van Gaal intends to launch a bid.

According to the Daily Star, the Premier League giants hope to help fund the £60m move by selling Robin van Persie, who struggled for form this season by scoring just 10 goals in 29 appearances.

Reports have claimed that Juventus are considering a £10m bid for the Dutchman, who could replace Carlos Tevez should the Argentine make the switch to PSG.
