Manchester United are reportedly intending to offload out-of-favour defenders Diogo Dalot and Marcos Rojo for a combined figure of £28m during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United are reportedly hoping to offload out-of-favour duo Diogo Dalot and Marcos Rojo for a combined £28m during the summer transfer window.

Dalot was restricted to just 11 appearances in all competitions for United during the 2019-20 campaign, and with the Red Devils supposedly looking to acquire a new full-back in the window, Dalot is expected to be moved on.

Likewise, Rojo has also fallen down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and spent the second half of last season on loan at boyhood club Estudiantes, where he only turned out once before suffering an injury.

With the Red Devils looking to improve their squad further, which still includes the possibility of signing Jadon Sancho, the Daily Record claims that Ed Woodward wants to sell Dalot and Rojo for sizeable figures this summer.

The report suggests that United intend to recoup the full €22m (£20.4m) they paid Porto to sign Dalot two years ago, and French side Lille have already seen a bid for the 21-year-old rejected.

Rojo, who will see his deal at Old Trafford expire next summer, is allegedly holding out for a move to Serie A and could be available for €8m (£7.4m).
