Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Portugal playmaker Andre Gomes, according to reports.
The 22-year-old moved to Valencia in 2014 from Benfica, and he has gone on to score nine goals in 77 games for the Spaniards.
According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils have proposed paying the La Liga side £35.2m up front for Gomes, with a further £11.75m being paid in bonuses.
The Express, meanwhile, claims that Jose Mourinho's side could offer Juan Mata, a former Valencia player, in exchange.
Italian giants Juventus are also thought to be interested in a move for the midfielder.
