Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Villarreal defender Juan Foyth, who is also a target for Barcelona.

Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Villarreal full-back Juan Foyth.

The Argentine was linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer, but he picked up an injury which prevented the transfer from being completed.

Although injury has restricted Foyth to just six appearances this season, Barcelona still remained interested in the 24-year-old, but they face competition from two Premier League clubs.

According to Fichajes, Man United and Chelsea have both enquired about the possibility of signing the Villarreal defender.

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka heading towards the exit door, the Red Devils are looking to sign a new right-back to provide competition for Diogo Dalot, while Chelsea want a backup for Reece James.

Villarreal have supposedly set an asking price of €42m (£36.1m), with Foyth's current deal set to expire in the summer of 2026.
