Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out a move for Dusan Vlahovic amid the ongoing speculation surrounding the Fiorentina centre-forward.
The Serbia international has been in impressive form for his Italian side this season, scoring 18 times in 22 appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal are said to be at the head of the queue for the 21-year-old despite interest from the likes of Juventus, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
When questioned on a possible move for Vlahovic, Arteta suggested that his club could potentially sign the attacker during the January transfer window.
"I think with the amount of things and the way that we want to evolve the squad, we have to maximise every window in many different ways and we are alert," Arteta told reporters.
"[Technical director] Edu and his team are working very hard because we know exactly what we need to do, and whether we can accomplish that in January or in the summer, is a different question as it is related to other stuff.
"Again, if it is the right player and we can afford it and we can do what we want to do we will discuss it and make the best possible decision. We are open."
Fiorentina are allegedly keen to sell Vlahovic during the January transfer window, with the forward's current deal due to expire in June 2023.
