Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has said that there is "no chance" that the club will sell Ryan Shawcross in January.
The 25-year-old defender, who left Manchester United to join the Potters in 2007, is reportedly attracting interest from his former club, as well as Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, on the subject of a potential move for his skipper, Pulis said: "No chance. It has been a good marriage. Ryan is our captain, has been selected for England and is only just 25.
"We won't see the best of him for another two or three years."
Shawcross's current contract at the Britannia Stadium expires in June 2014.
