Manchester United are reportedly planning a move for RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele.
The 24-year-old has made 126 appearances for his Bundesliga club since arriving from Montpellier in July 2018, contributing 10 goals and seven assists in the process.
Mukiele has again been an important player for Leipzig during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring twice and providing one assist in 18 appearances in all competitions.
According to 90min, new Man United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is interested in bringing Mukiele to Old Trafford either in January or during next summer's transfer window.
The report claims that the Red Devils are keen to strengthen at right-back next year amid concerns over Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has largely struggled to impress since arriving from Crystal Palace.
Mukiele, who only has 18 months left to run on his current deal, largely operates as a right-back but is also capable of playing in the middle of the defence and in midfield.
