Real Madrid are reportedly becoming increasingly confident of signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba on a free transfer next summer.
The France international's existing deal at the Bernabeu is due to expire in June 2022, and Man United are struggling to come to an agreement with the World Cup winner over an extension.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid are unlikely to move for Pogba in January but believe that they will be able to sign the 28-year-old ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The midfielder has started the new season in impressive form for the 20-time English champions, providing five assists in three Premier League appearances.
Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have been keen to sign Pogba over the summer, but their interest ended when Lionel Messi arrived in the French capital on a free transfer.
Real Madrid are also expected to target both Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland and PSG's Kylian Mbappe next year as part of a rebuild at the club.
