Manchester United have reportedly been made aware that German international Thomas Muller could leave Bayern Munich.
The World Cup winner was strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, but the 25-year-old remained at the Allianz Arena.
It was thought that Muller was unreachable, but according to The Express, the attacker's agent has made contact with Real Madrid.
The same report has claimed that Muller is keen on a change of scenery, which has alerted a host of European clubs, including Louis van Gaal's United.
Muller, who has scored 26 times in 62 games for his country, has won 11 major trophies with Bayern – including three league titles and the Champions League.
