Everton legend Ian Snodin says the club must fight to keep hold of Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.

Everton legend Ian Snodin feels that the club must fight to keep hold of Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines this summer.

The pair have been talked about as possible signings for David Moyes next season when the Scot moves to Manchester United, and Snodin wants the club to make sure both players remain at Goodison Park.

"I understand the fans' fears that Fellaini and Baines could join Moyes at Old Trafford," Snodin wrote in his Liverpool Echo column.

"The club must do everything they can to make sure they keep hold of both, although Fellaini has hinted that he wants Champions League football.

"Personally, I can't see the big man at United and think he may be set for a different club but a move for Baines [from United] makes more sense from their perspective to me, and it worries me."

Everton are currently sixth in the Premier League.
