Manchester United to bid £55m for Angel di Maria?

Manchester United are reportedly ready to pounce for Angel di Maria after Paris Saint-Germain end their interest in the Real Madrid winger.

Manchester United have launched a £55m bid for Real Madrid star Angel di Maria, reports suggest.

The Argentina international is ready to part ways with the European champions after manager Carlo Ancelotti brought Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez to the Spanish club, and Di Maria has his heart set on a switch to either France or England, according to The Express.

However, Paris Saint-Germain have already announced that they are no longer in the running for the ex-Benfica man, with club president Nasser Al Khelaifi revealing that the player was too expensive.

With PSG out of the running, Manchester United have stepped up their interest and are said to be willing to pay up to £55m for the wideman, with a five-year-deal worth £120,000 per week on offer.
