Report: Valencia want Ezequiel Lavezzi

A report claims that Valencia want to sign Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.

Valencia have reportedly joined the race for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi, who is expected to leave the French champions this summer.

The 30-year-old joined PSG from Napoli in 2012 and despite hitting double figures in his first two seasons in France, has not always been considered as first choice.

Angel di Maria's arrival in Paris is expected to further limit Lavezzi's starting opportunities, which has led to widespread speculation of a move.

A number of clubs have been linked with the Argentine, but according to Superdeporte, Valencia are confident of completing a deal before the start of the La Liga season.

Manchester United are also said to be closely monitoring developments.
