Manchester United are said to have turned down the opportunity to sign Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose before the transfer window shuts.
Reports last night suggested that the Red Devils had been approached with an offer to take the Brazilian as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side hunt for a short-term replacement for the injured Marcus Rashford.
According to Sky Sports News, however, Jose is not under consideration by United as they look to get a new striker in on deadline day.
Tottenham Hotspur are thought to remain in the hunt for Jose, albeit on a loan deal, having balked at Sociedad's demand of £25m for a permanent transfer.
The 28-year-old has been left out of Sociedad's last three matchday squads while his future remains unresolved.
