Louis van Gaal tight-lipped on Manchester United transfer activity

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal refuses to discuss potential transfers that he is targeting this month.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has refused to give anything away with regards to the club's transfer activity this month.

The Red Devils have already made one signing in the form of ex-Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes, who sealed an 18-month deal, with the option of a further year, yesterday.

While Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has been touted as a major target for the North-West outfit, Van Gaal is keeping quiet.

In today's press conference, the Dutchman said: "No, no, in this transfer window I do not discuss with you. You can ask in another way but I am always saying the same answer."

This weekend in the Premier League, United will take on Southampton at Old Trafford.
