Thomas Vermaelen: 'I don't know where I'll be next season'

Thomas Vermaelen admits that he is unsure whether he will be leaving Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Thomas Vermaelen has admitted that he is unsure where he will be playing his football next season as reports continue to link him with a move away from Arsenal.

Manchester United are believed to have registered their interest in the Belgian, but Vermaelen claims that his future has not been made any clearer in recent weeks as he prepares to return to training with the Gunners.

"I really do not know where I will play, Arsenal or elsewhere next season," the 28-year-old is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard. "All my attention went to the World Cup.

"I will see when I talk with Arsenal."

Vermaelen joined Arsenal from Ajax in the summer of 2009.
