Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has suggested that goalkeeper Dean Henderson will return to Manchester United in the summer.
Having made 76 appearances in all competitions since first joining the Blades on loan in 2018, it has been claimed that Henderson may remain at Bramall Lane for a third successive campaign.
However, despite the presence of David de Gea at Old Trafford, Wilder says that the highly-regarded English stopper has ambitions to dislodge United's long-serving stopper from his position in the starting lineup.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Wilder said: "I spoke to Dean after, he wants to win 50 caps and play for Manchester United and he has to overcome disappointments.
"He is pushing now, he's a young boy and we talk about mistakes but he gets over them. He has got a mental strength to play in goal with his a hugely difficult position and a brilliant attitude and ability. I am sure he will be pushing and gaining that England shirt he is desperate to get."
The 23-year-old currently has just over two years left on his United contract.
