Middlesbrough have revealed that Matty Dolan will join League One outfit Bradford City on a permanent basis this summer once his contract expires.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of 2013-14 on loan with the Bantams and will now sign a one-year contract, with the option to extend it by another year, at Valley Parade.
A former captain of Boro's Under-21 and reserve sides, Dolan never broke into the first team at the Riverside, spending a short time on loan in League One with Yeovil Town last year before a fruitful spell with Hartlepool United in League Two earlier this season.
Boro also revealed this afternoon that they have taken up the option to extend Richard Smallwood's contract by a further year.
