Millwall midfielder Shaun Williams has been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.

The 28-year-old suffered a bone fracture after colliding with a perimeter wall during his side's win over Wigan Athletic on Tuesday.

Despite being forced to miss the remainder of the Championship campaign, Williams is not expected to undergo surgery.

Millwall are currently four points adrift of safety with three games left to play. They return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Blackburn Rovers.
