New manager Neil Harris wants to see 'exciting' Millwall

Millwall's new manager Neil Harris wants his players to produce "excitement" as they attempt to beat relegation in the Championship.

Millwall's new manager Neil Harris has called on his players to produce "excitement" as they attempt to beat relegation in the Championship.

Harris, the club's all-time top scorer, was named as Ian Holloway's replacement when the latter was sacked yesterday.

He has now told the players to deliver "Millwall-style" displays in the final two months of the season.

"I will give it my all, as will the team, and I want to see them play with pride," Harris told the club website.

"I want to see an excitement and Millwall-style performances. I want the fans to see the players play for them.

"There is lots to look at between now and Saturday. Certain people will be given an opportunity to grab a shirt and play."

With 10 games of the season to go, Millwall are second-bottom in the table, eight points from safety.

Harris's first game in charge is at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, with the Lions looking for their first win in six games.
