Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has revealed his delight after being called up to the latest Argentina squad.
The 22-year-old struggled for minutes in the early part of the season after joining Sociedad from Estudiantes, but he has since established himself as the Basque club's number one.
"I'm enormously happy. When you start playing football, you always imagine representing your country," he told Mundo Deportivo.
"It's a happiness I can't describe. It's something I can't quite believe. I'm waiting for the big day, when I can wear the colours of my country. It's an honour for my family and I because I didn't expect it. It makes me value everything [in my life] a little more."
Argentina face El Salvador and Ecuador in friendlies later this month.
