Preview: Millwall vs. Doncaster Rovers

Sports Mole previews the Easter Monday fixture between Championship strugglers Millwall and Doncaster Rovers.

There are few Easter Monday Championship encounters that have as much riding on it as Millwall's home clash with Doncaster Rovers.

The two teams are locked on 43 points, which is just one point better off than Blackpool, who currently occupy the final relegation place.

With that in mind, the winner at The New Den will all but secure their second-tier status, while at the same time plundering the loser into real trouble.

Austrian striker Stefan Maierhofer scored both goals as Millwall won 2-1 at Middlesbrough on Saturday, and he is expected to keep his place for the visit of Donny.

Elsewhere, manager Ian Holloway may well recall Steve Morison to partner Maierhofer, with midfielder Nadjim Abdou also in contention.

As for visiting Doncaster, Paul Dickov is not expected to make many changes from the team that lost 2-0 to Derby County on Good Friday.
