Millwall sign Sheffield Wednesday defender Mark Beevers on a 28-day emergency loan deal.

Mark Beevers has left Sheffield Wednesday to join Millwall on a 28-day emergency loan.

The 22-year-old has made eight appearances for the Owls this season but he has been allowed to join Millwall by manager Dave Jones.

The centre-back will add defensive options to Millwall's backline after they lost Paul Robinson to injury and they are also without the suspended Karleigh Osborne and Shane Lowry.

Beevers is available for Millwall's home match with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
