League One round-up

Sports Mole rounds up Tuesday's League One action, where Walsall moved out of the relegation zone and Carlisle improved their playoff chances with a win over MK Dons.

Carlisle United prevailed in a battle of two of League One's playoff chasers by beating MK Dons 2-1 tonight.

There was late drama at Stadium MK as Carlisle came from behind to beat Karl Robinson's side courtesy of Jordan Cook's brace, which included a last-minute penalty.

Stevenage's playoff hopes were dented as they were held to a 2-2 draw by managerless Bournemouth at Broadhall Way.

Meanwhile, Walsall moved out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 victory over Colchester United, while Brentford won by the same scoreline thanks to a Clayton Donaldson double.

Leyton Orient were also victors as a Dave Mooney goal was enough for them to beat Oldham Atheltic 1-0.

League One results: MK Dons 1-2 Carlisle United; Oldham Athletic 0-1 Leyton Orient; Preston North End 1-3 Brentford; Stevenage 2-2 Bournemouth; Walsall 3-1 Colchester United
