Dagenham & Redbridge move seven points clear of the League Two drop zone with a 3-2 win away at Morecambe.

Dagenham & Redbridge moved seven points clear of the League Two drop zone with a 3-2 win against Morecambe this afternoon.

Luke Howell scored the Daggers' quickest ever league goal when he netted after just 18 seconds for the visitors.

The home responded through Andy Fleming, who converted Shaun Beeley's cross from close range on 24 minutes.

However, the Daggers struck two goals in four minutes in the second period through Ayo Obileye and Jamie Cureton.

Obileye netted just three minutes after the restart before Cureton tapped home Ashley Hemmings's cross.

Jack Redshaw capped a fine run with a smart finish in stoppage time, but it was too little, too late for home side.
