Luis Enrique a candidate to replace Maurizio Sarri at Napoli?

Napoli will reportedly consider an approach for Luis Enrique if Maurizio Sarri opts to leave the Serie A giants during the summer.

Luis Enrique has reportedly emerged as a potential managerial target for Napoli.

Current boss Maurizio Sarri has turned the Naples-based club into strong contenders to win the Serie A title, while the 59-year-old has won a total of 93 of his 139 matches in charge.

However, Napoli are currently waiting on the 59-year-old to pen a new long-term deal at Stadio San Paolo, and according to Tuttosport, the club's hierarchy have started to consider a possible successor.

Luis Enrique has been out of work since leaving Barcelona at the end of last season, and the Spaniard has been strongly linked with jobs at Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 47-year-old has previously spent time in Italy with Roma, where he won 17 of his 42 matches in all competitions during the 2011-12 campaign.
