Rafael van der Vaart believes that there are only three "outstanding" players in the Germany squad.

Holland midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has claimed that the Germany squad possesses "only three outstanding players".

The Germans are widely considered one of the favourites to win Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine this summer.

However, ahead of his side's match against Germany tomorrow evening, Van der Vaart believes that that there is more quality in the current Oranje squad.

"I can count only three outstanding players in the Germany squad which are Ozil, Gotze and Schweinsteiger," he told NUsport. "Their defence is okay, but that's all.

"I think we have more quality. But football is also about confidence, and that's what they will have now."

Defeat for the Dutch on Wednesday will all but eliminate them from the competition.
