Gareth Southgate has handed starts to Kieran Trippier, Joe Gomez and Marcus Rashford for England's friendly with the Netherlands.

Trippier gets the nod at right wing-back - with Southgate opting to use Kyle Walker on the right side of a back three - while Liverpool's Gomez gets another chance to impress.

With Harry Kane out injured, Rashford features in attack ahead of Jamie Vardy, and the Manchester United forward will be supported by Jesse Lingard and Raheem Sterling.

Jordan Pickford starts between the sticks, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain partners Jordan Henderson in midfield with Jack Wilshere suffering a knock in training.

As for the Netherlands, new manager Ronald Koeman includes three Premier League players in his first starting lineup, with Virgil van Dijk, Georginio Wijnaldum and Patrick van Aanholt all selected.

Former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay features in a front three, while highly-rated youngster Matthijs de Ligt gets the chance to make an impact in the centre of defence.
