Demba Ba: 'Newcastle United needs to find balance'

Demba Ba wants Newcastle United to find more balance between defending and attacking.

Demba Ba has said that Newcastle United must find a balance between attacking and defending.

The Magpies have just one win in their last 11 games, most recently losing 3-1 to Manchester City yesterday.

The striker told Sky Sports News: "We have put in some good performances in the last three or four weeks, but unfortunately, we just keep losing.

"We have to find the right balance between attacking and defending to stop conceding goals and start scoring even more.

"You just have to look in when you attack. You always have to keep in mind as a team that if you lose the ball, [Manchester City] is a team that can counter very fast, and you have to find the right balance, and we didn't."

Newcastle are currently 15th in the Premier League table.
