Seydou Doumbia free to make Newcastle United debut

New signing Seydou Doumbia is free to make his Newcastle United debut away at Everton after being granted a visa.

Seydou Doumbia has been cleared to make his Newcastle United debut away at Everton this evening.

The Ivorian joined the Magpies on a six-month loan deal from Roma just before Monday's transfer deadline passed.

There had been suggestions that Doumbia would have to wait to make his first appearance over a visa issue, but he has now been granted permission to feature at Goodison Park.

Newcastle make the trip to Merseyside having collected just seven points from their 11 away Premier League matches this term.
