Jonas Gutierrez has returned to training with Newcastle United just over a month after being given the all-clear from cancer.

The winger missed the start of the season after being diagnosed with testicular cancer over the summer, returning home to Argentina to undergo treatment.

According to the Shields Gazette, the 31-year-old trained alongside his teammates at the club's Benton training ground today after returning to Newcastle earlier this week.

Manager Alan Pardew has previously said that the club will not rush Gutierrez back into action.
