Newcastle United defender Daryl Janmaat believes that the Magpies' squad is good enough to qualify for the Europa League at the end of the season.
The North-East outfit have made a number of additions during the summer, and while Janmaat has admitted that it might take time for new signings to settle at St James' Park, he has revealed that the club want to play in Europe next year.
The 25-year-old told the Northern Echo: "I don't know what we can do, but I think that we have to focus on every game. We can do well.
"We have a good squad and we have to take each game as it comes and at the end of the season, we'll see where we end up.
"We want to play in Europe. I don't know if it's possible this year but we want to and we will do everything to make that happen."
Newcastle are currently sitting in 16th place in the Premier League table.
