Both Cheik Tiote and Robert Huth will not be punished for their actions during Premier League matches at the weekend.
Newcastle United midfielder Tiote produced a studs-up challenge on Manchester United's Tom Cleverley during the Red Devils' 3-0 victory at the Sports Direct Arena.
It was a challenge that referee Howard Webb missed on the day.
Meanwhile, Stoke City's Huth appeared to stamp on the chest of Liverpool frontman Luis Suarez. Again, the incident was missed by the match official on duty.
However, having reviewed both incidents, the Football Association have decided not to take any further action.
Man United striker Robin van Persie has also escaped punishment following an altercation with Yohan Cabaye.
