Galatasaray forward Garry Rodrigues has emerged as a rumoured winter transfer target for Newcastle United, as they look to strengthen their attacking ranks.
Magpies boss Rafael Benitez has reportedly made a new striker his priority for the January window after seeing his side score 13 times in their opening 14 Premier League matches.
According to Fotomac, Rodrigues has caught the attention of Benitez due to his all-round displays during a short stint in the Turkish top flight.
The report suggests that the Cape Verde international is already in high demand, though, with a number of suitors emerging in recent weeks.
Rodrigues joined Gala from PAOK in a £3.2m deal earlier this year and has played a part in four goals in 10 Super Lig starts.
