Newcastle United have reportedly agreed an option to buy striker Loic Remy with Queens Park Rangers.
The Magpies secured the signature of the Frenchman, who scored twice in Newcastle's 3-2 defeat to Hull City last weekend, on a season-long loan in the summer.
It is understood that Newcastle are keen to keep hold of Remy beyond the season and have negotiated a pre-agreed fee for a permanent move with QPR, according to The Journal.
The move will only go through if Remy decides at the end of the season to stay put at St James' Park.
