Ronaldinho: 'I am not retiring'

Former World Cup winner Ronaldinho, who left Fluminense in September after just two months with the Brazilian club, insists that he is not thinking about retirement.

Former Brazil international Ronaldinho has insisted that retiring from professional football 'has not crossed his mind'.

The 35-year-old has been without a club since his contract with Fluminense was cancelled in September, just two months after he joined the Brazilian side.

It had been claimed that the World Cup winner would now hang up his boots after a glittering career, but the attacker has said that he is still actively seeking a new club.

"Finishing my career at this time has not crossed my mind. I still like football, I am in good health and I am a competitive person," he told reporters.

Ronaldinho, who has represented the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan, won the last of his 97 Brazil caps in 2013.
