Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant has been appointed as technical director at Thai club BEC Tero Sasana.
The 59-year-old, who has also managed West Ham United and Portsmouth in the past, takes up the position with the Fire Dragons currently six points behind league leaders Buriram United.
"I come here to help make the team become better," the Israeli told reporters. "I come here to create chances for the team - that's my job."
Grant led Chelsea to the Champions League final in 2008, only to miss out on the trophy to Manchester United on penalties in Moscow.
