Neil Adams apologises to Mick McCarthy over handshake

Norwich City boss Neil Adams issues an apology to Ipswich Town counterpart Mick McCarthy after failing to shake hands at the end of his side's 1-0 win on Saturday.

Norwich City boss Neil Adams has apologised to Ipswich Town counterpart Mick McCarthy after failing to shake hands at the end of Saturday's match between the teams.

Adams forgot to acknowledge McCarthy and his assistant Terry Connor at the end of Norwich's 1-0 win in the local derby at Portman Road.

"I want to apologise to Mick and Terry. I was out of order. It was completely unintentional," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

Saturday's victory was enough to see Norwich climb up to third place in the Championship table.
