Norwich City vow to do everything possible to keep hold of their manager Paul Lambert.

Norwich City have vowed to do everything they can to keep hold of manager Paul Lambert.

The Scottish boss has guided the Canaries to two successive promotions since taking charge in 2009.

Recent reports have suggested that a number of clubs may attempt to lure the 42-year-old away from Carrow Road during the summer.

However, chief executive David McNally has insisted that the club are eager for Lambert to continue the work that he has started in Norfolk.

"Paul is happy here. It's his football club, he's been accepted by the great people of Norwich and Norfolk," said McNally. "He's hugely ambitious. We haven't let him down yet - we have matched that ambition having gone from 69th position to 12th.

"We will do all we can to work together for the long term."

Norwich are currently 12th in the Premier League table.
