Norwich City's Wes Hoolahan has revealed that he is happy to have taken on a new playing position.
Chris Hughton, who took charge of the Canaries in the summer, has decided to deploy the 30-year-old in an advanced midfield role behind lone striker Grant Holt.
Discussing his new slot in the team, Hoolahan was full of praise for how easy Holt has made it for him to settle in.
"It takes time, of course, with a new manager coming in and playing the way he wants to play," the Irishman told the Eastern Daily Press. "In the last two games, we've played really well. When you've got Holty up there playing with you it's great because he knows where to run. I enjoy playing in this position."
Hoolahan joined Norwich from Blackpool in 2008.
