Norwich City manager Neil Adams had admitted that he is expecting to be busy in the transfer market throughout August.
Adams believes that the activity of Premier League clubs will have an impact on sides in the Championship, and he is hopeful the Canaries will be able to conclude deals before the start of the new season.
"I think it will hot up now. Premier League teams are getting back into the swing of things, and that creates a knock-on effect which travels right down the leagues," the Norwich boss told reporters.
"We've said we are not done and that will probably be triggered by outs. We know we need to strengthen so there could be one or two coming in, but we also have to be ready to react if we lose players."
Norwich are expected to face a battle to keep Leroy Fer, with Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp declaring his interest in the Dutch midfielder on Wednesday.
