Norwich City have been linked with a move for Catania striker Maxi Lopez.
The 29-year-old, who once played for Barcelona, looks likely to leave the Serie A club this season after loan spells at AC Milan and Sampdoria in the last two seasons.
According to talkSPORT, Canaries boss Chris Hughton is weighing up a move for the Argentine, who is believed to have a £3.5m price tag.
The 54-year-old has already acquired the services of Dutch forward Ricky van Wolfswinkel for the next four years.
Lopez scored four goals in 17 appearances for Sampdoria last season.
