Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers are goalless after the first half of their match at the City Ground, as both sides chase down a place in the Championship playoffs.
Bakary Sako earned a corner for the visitors early on when his shot from distance was deflected wide, following a jinking run from inside his own half that beat several Forest players.
Forest almost took the lead on seven minutes when Carl Ikeme hesitated while making a clearance. Michail Antonio charged down the ball, but it deflected off the Reds man and away for a goal kick.
Some neat play from Henri Lansbury and Chiba Akpom in the 20th minute teed the ball up for Forest defender Michael Mancienne, who went close with a powerful drive from distance that Ikeme tipped wide for a corner.
Wolves carved out a good opportunity five minutes later, as James Henry curled a dangerous cross into the box from the right wing that Benik Afobe just failed to connect with.
Wolves came close to scoring in the 33rd minute after Forest defender Kelvin Wilson slipped on the wet turf to allow Afobe to go through on goal. Karl Darlow blocked Afobe's effort, with the ball dropping to Nouha Dicko, whose shot at goal was cleared off the line by Reds left-back Eric Lichaj.
Antonio had the final effort of the half for Forest, but he could only blaze his effort high over the bar after being picked out by Lichaj.
