Supporter attempts to punch Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson

A supporter, who was sitting in the Derby County end, attempts to punch Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson at the end of the Championship game between the two clubs.

A Derby County supporter has attempted to punch Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson after running onto the pitch at the end of the Championship fixture at the iPro Stadium.

A last-minute winner from Ben Osborn earned Forest a dramatic victory over their East Midlands rivals, but as the visiting team began to celebrate, a fan from the Derby section of the crowd made his way onto the pitch.

The man, who appeared to be in his twenties, attempted to strike a stunned Wilson before teammate Jamaal Lascelles moved to diffuse the situation by taking the pitch invader to the ground.

A number of stewards helped Lascelles in restraining the offender before he was promptly hauled away from the playing area.
