Nottingham Forest will reportedly make a big-money move for a new striker in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to the Nottingham Post, Forest are ready to offer up to £35,000-a-week in wages to bag a prolific goalscorer.
The club went after both Charlie Austin and Gary Hooper in the summer but lost out to Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City respectively.
West Bromwich Albion's Irish forward Shane Long is said to be one of the names that Forest will chase in the New Year.
Forest's 0-0 draw with Ipswich on Saturday saw them drop out of the Championship playoff places.
