The agent of Antonio Cassano has revealed that the Italian international striker is nearing a transfer from Inter Milan to Parma.
Discussions took place between the two clubs on Monday, with the final deal involving 21-year-old forward Ishak Belfodil moving in the opposite direction.
Cassano's imminent exit from the San Siro has been in the pipeline ever since a well-publicised disagreement with former Inter manager Andrea Stramaccioni.
Despite the arrival of new boss Walter Mazzarri, Cassano's agent Beppe Bozzo has confirmed that his client should complete a switch to Parma later this week.
"Wednesday or Thursday the negotiation will be closed," Bozzo told Parma Today.
Parma would be the 30-year-old's sixth Serie A club following spells at Bari, Roma, Sampdoria, AC Milan and Inter.
