Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi has insisted that the interest in young striker Ishak Belfodil shows that his club have a good scouting network.
Belfodil has scored eight times this season for Parma and Ghirardi confirmed that the club has already rejected a bid from a big Serie A side.
"The fact that he is wanted is good because it means that our scouting system is working well," Football Italia quotes Ghirardi as saying.
"We received an important offer from an Italian club for him in January, but we rejected it.
"Was it from Juventus? No, it wasn't Juve, but I won't tell you who it was. The offer was only valid for January and is no longer on the table."
The player has also been linked with a move to the Premier League.
